My name is Paul. I've been a carpenter in Oxfordshire for over 20 years — starting in a small workshop with a handful of tools and a belief that things made properly should last a lifetime.
Today I work with homeowners, architects and interior designers across Oxford, the Cotswolds and the Vale of White Horse. Every project is handled personally — no subcontracting, no shortcuts. You work with me from the first sketch to the final fitting.
I use sustainably sourced British timber wherever possible. Each piece is designed for your exact space, built in my workshop, and installed with care.
We visit your home, discuss your ideas, take measurements and understand exactly what you need.
You receive detailed drawings and a fixed-price quote. No surprises, no hidden costs.
Your piece is hand-built in our Oxfordshire workshop using premium timbers selected for the project.
We install everything ourselves. Site is left clean. You're left with something built to last generations.
"Paul built us a full home library — floor-to-ceiling shelving with a rolling ladder. The craftsmanship is extraordinary. Every visitor asks about it."
"We had Paul fit our kitchen and it's transformed the house. The attention to detail is incredible — everything fits perfectly. Genuinely couldn't recommend him more highly."
"Our oak staircase is simply beautiful. Paul took time to understand exactly what we wanted and delivered something beyond our expectations. A true craftsman."
"From first contact to final fit, the process was seamless. Paul turned up when he said he would, kept us informed throughout and the result is stunning."
"The garden office Paul built for us is like a proper room — beautifully finished inside and out. It's become my favourite place to work. Worth every penny."
"We used Paul for a period renovation — new internal doors, skirtings, architraves across the whole house. The quality is exceptional and he clearly loves what he does."
Our workshop is based in Oxfordshire and we take on projects throughout the county and into neighbouring areas including the Cotswolds, Berkshire and Wiltshire.

It depends on complexity. A set of built-in shelves might take 2–3 weeks from order to installation. A full fitted kitchen or staircase is typically 8–14 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline when we quote.
Yes. Every quote is fixed-price based on the agreed design and specification. You won't get a bill for more at the end unless you change the scope of work after we've agreed the quote.
We use sustainably sourced British and European timbers including oak, ash, tulipwood, pine and MDF depending on the project. We'll advise on the best timber choice for your brief, budget and finish.
Absolutely. We work regularly with architects and designers on both residential and commercial projects. We can work from your drawings or collaborate on the design process from the start.
Yes. We carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Documentation available on request.
There's no hard minimum, but due to the bespoke nature of our work, most projects start from around £1,500. Small repairs and hanging doors are generally outside our scope — we focus on designed, made-to-measure work.
